Dr. Sandra M. Gawchik of Asthma and Allergy Research Associates is Board certified in Allergy, Immunology and Pediatrics. She is a certified Clinical Investigator by the Drug Information Association (DIA).

Dr. Gawchik is currently serving as Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA; the Co-Director of the Division of Allergy and Clinical Immunology at Crozer Chester Medical Center in Chester, PA; and a consultant in pediatrics at Children’s Heart Hospital of Philadelphia, PA. 

Dr. Gawchik’s therapeutic areas of interest include asthma, exercise, COPD, allergic rhinitis and dermatology studies in pediatric and adult populations. Her co-investigators include Anthony R. Rooklin, MD; Garo C. Aventian, DO; and Denise A. DePrimio-Kalman, DO. There are 4 research coordinators, 3 of whom are CRCC-certified.
