Investigator Profile - Albert F. Finn, Jr.

Dr. Albert Finn received his undergraduate degree with honors in Pharmacy Sciences and Toxicology at St. John's University in New York. He subsequently attended the State University of New York in Syracuse, where he received his Doctorate of Medicine (cum laude).  Dr. Finn then returned to the New York City metropolitan area; there he completed residency training in both Internal Medicine and Clinical Pathology at the State University of New York in Stoney Brook.   He continued his training at Stony Brook in the area of immunology and allergy, completing a postdoctoral fellowship.  Dr. Finn holds board certification in Internal Medicine, Pathology, and Allergy and Clinical Immunology.  He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the American College of Physicians, the College of American Pathologists, and the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.  He is a member on editorial boards of several medical journals.

Presently, Dr. Finn continues to be active on both the national and international levels in clinical research.  He is a consultant to many pharmaceutical corporations in the areas of drug development and clinical protocol development.
